"A Community of Mamas," an initiative by One Happy Mama dedicated to extending support and resources to mothers in the Greater New Orleans area. We understand the power of community in providing a nurturing environment for mothers to thrive, and "A Community of Mamas" is our way of creating that supportive network.

 

Through this initiative, we host our annual Community Baby Shower and Black Maternal Health Block Party, where mothers can come together to celebrate, connect, and access essential resources for themselves and their families. These events are just a glimpse of the ongoing support and opportunities available to all mothers in our region.

 

We're excited to announce the upcoming launch of our Resource Hub, a comprehensive directory of organizations and services working in the maternal and family realm. From healthcare providers to childcare services, parenting classes to mental health support, the Resource Hub will be a one-stop destination for mothers to find the resources and support they need to thrive.
